Business Law

 

Philip assists clients with forming all kinds of business structures, assists them in the operation of their business via contract drafting, mergers, and acquisitions, and assists them in the dissolving, transfer, and liquidation of business entities.

Criminal Law

 

In the last ten years, David’s criminal law practice has evolved to exclusively representing clients with OWI cases in North Central Iowa, including a successful appeal to the Iowa Supreme Court.

Drainage

 

Since 2012, David has developed a practice in the area of drainage district law. He represents the Board of Supervisors acting as the Board of Trustees for drainage districts in Wright, Hamilton, and Hardin Counties as well as private land owners. Mr. Johnson is also currently involved with several appeals involving drainage law to the Iowa Supreme Court.

Estate Planning

 

Philip assists clients with estate planning including the preparation of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

Personal Injury

 

Both David and Philip represent injured individuals who have been injured due to another person’s negligence.

Probate

 

Philip represents Executors and Administrators with the probate of estates including the preparation of income and estate tax returns.

Real Estate

 

Philip represent clients who are buying, leasing, and selling residential, commercial and agricultural real estate.

Tax Preparation

 

Philip advises clients on personal, business, and not-for-profit income tax planning and the preparation of income tax returns.
